Bobbi Wegner Psy.D.

Bobbi Wegner, Psy.D., is a clinical psychologist at Boston Behavioral Medicine and an adjunct lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She has spent the last 10 years studying the impact of stress and anxiety on kids and parents and is a firm believer in building independence and emotional durability. She teaches behavioral medicine skills to manage the normative anxiety that goes along with parenting, helping families refocus and create a calmer home.

Wegner is an expert contributor to NBC News’ ParentingToolkit.com, and is a regular writer for media outlets like Thrive Global. She also gives talks on the managing stress and anxiety in children and parents, understanding these issues as a much broader cultural problem, and is giving a Tedx Talk on 'Raising Feminist Boys' at Dartmouth College in April 2018. In her spare time, Wegner hosts the podcast called Raising and Roasting: The Psychology and Food of Modern-Day Parenthood, where parents talk about what is working, and, more importantly, what is not. They also discuss how they make time for family dinner, and share a favorite recipe.
