Tahir Rahman M.D.
Tahir Rahman, M.D. is an associate professor of psychiatry at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He has lectured at the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law, the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, and the FBI behavioral analysis unit, Quantico. He is the author or co-author of articles in peer-reviewed psychiatric and psychological journals and textbook chapters. Rahman was born in Saskatchewan, Canada and he grew up in Kansas, attended the University of Kansas for his undergraduate and medical school degrees, and completed his residency in psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University. He is the author of Extreme Overvalued Beliefs: Clinical and Forensic Psychiatric Dimensions (OUP).
