In 2019, she was the President of the Society of Behavioral Medicine, the leading professional organization focused on the intersection between behavior and health. As a scientist-practitioner, she specializes in depression, relationships, grief, divorce, body image, and healthy lifestyle. She has published 264 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
