Robert Dawson, Ph.D., who attended the Australian National University and the University of Melbourne, is a retired member of the Clinical College of the Australian Psychological Society, and has lectured courses at numerous Australian universities. He is a former head of the psychology department of the Royal Darwin Hospital. He researches the comparative effectiveness of cognitive and behavior therapies. His recent book is How to be Happy in Spite of Yourself.
