Rebekka Grun von Jolk Ph.D.
Rebekka Grun von Jolk, Ph.D., is an expert on love data and economics, with research experience in behavioral economics, sociology, and empirical psychology. A sought-after speaker on matters of relationships and human development, she has been using her social media platform to translate complex scientific findings into practical, relatable advice for a broad audience. Her TED talk with 20,000 views was released in early 2020, and her words have been on the BBC and in The Huffington Post.
She is currently a Lead Economist in International Development, improving lives globally through supporting policies for education, health, and well-being. Earlier, she worked in the UK Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit developing new policies for families and childcare, which she joined from Frontier Economics and Monitor Group. Rebekka holds a Ph.D. in Economics from University College London and a lic.oec. from the University of St. Gallen.
