A. Mark Williams, Ph.D., is a professor at the University of Utah. He is also the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Sports Sciences, the Executive Editor for the journal Human Movement Science, and he sits on the editorial boards of the Scandinavian Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport, Research Quarterly for Exercise and Sport, Frontiers of Cognition, and Frontiers in Psychology (Performance Science). He has worked extensively with many professional and Olympic sports, as well as military and industrial partners. This blog is based on the book, co-authored with journalist Tim Wigmore, The Best: How Elite Athletes Are Made.
