Lisa Broderick writes about and advises on translating complex human science into leadership practice at scale, integrating behavioral insight with organizational design to support sustained performance.
She advises CEOs, boards, and senior executives leading consequential change who want it to last. With more than three decades of experience serving inside organizations as a CEO, CFO, and COO, she brings the perspective of an operator who has carried enterprise responsibility and understands how strategy succeeds or fails in execution.
Her work focuses on making change durable. She partners with leadership teams at enterprise inflection points, including C-suite transitions, growth phases, restructurings, post-merger integrations, and periods of elevated operational or reputational risk. Drawing on experience across finance, governance, and organizational systems design, she helps leaders align strategy, stakeholder expectations, and daily operating behavior to translate initiatives into measurable, sustained results. She works within executive coaching and senior advisory environments to help CEOs and leadership teams convert strategic priorities into decision frameworks, accountability systems, and leadership practices that hold up under pressure.
Lisa began her career during the formative years of Silicon Valley while at Stanford University, working at pre-IPO Apple Computer and other emerging technology companies. In 2001, she founded Conversus Group LLC, advising venture-backed and enterprise organizations on governance, restructuring, and operational effectiveness. Her governance experience includes serving as an independent director of Thrifty Payless, a Rite Aid subsidiary, during a $2.5 billion restructuring.
She is the author of All the Time in the World and, with Marshall Goldsmith, co-author of Permanence, which introduces a practical system for sustaining leadership performance through daily accountability and stakeholder engagement. Lisa is also the founder of Police2Peace, a national nonprofit advancing leadership accountability and community trust in highly regulated environments.
