Lindsey Nenadal, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Child Development at California State University, Chico. Inspired by her time as an elementary school teacher, Nenadal’s research focuses on challenges that many children face today, including issues of poverty, bias in the school setting, and the need for support after a natural disaster. Her work has been published in journals including Early Childhood Research Quarterly, American Psychologist, and Journal of Social Issues. Nenadal collaborates with an amazing team of undergraduate students from her Supporting Children and Families in Our Community and Beyond Lab on projects including this blog.
