Kelly G. Manix, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Management at Middle Tennessee State University’s Jones College of Business, where she serves as the Tolbert Faculty Fellow of Ethical Leadership and studies how humility, ethics, and moral leadership shape healthier organizations and communities. She earned her Ph.D. in Management from the University of South Alabama and has published in journals such as American Business Review, Applied Psychology: An International Review, and the Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management. Her research has received multiple awards, including recognition for both ethics scholarship and innovative teaching at the Southern Management Association. Before entering academia, Manix worked in the recording industry, food service, and retail management, experiences that fuel her passion for practical, people-centered leadership.
