Giulia Suro, Ph.D., is a psychologist, author, and researcher who specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and trauma. She worked with this population in higher levels of care before transitioning to an outpatient private practice. In 2018, she was awarded the highest designation of Certified Eating Disorder Specialist by the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. In addition to her clinical work, she is the Director of Research and Clinical Outcomes for Monte Nido, a leading eating disorder treatment provider, and her team's findings have contributed to leading academic journals such as The International Journal of Eating Disorders and European Eating Disorder Review. In addition to her academic work, in 2019, she published a workbook titled Learning to Thrive, which is highly regarded in the field.
