Eli Gottlieb, Ph.D., is a cognitive psychologist and executive coach. His studies of cognition, culture, and identity have appeared in leading peer-reviewed journals, and his op-eds have featured in Israel’s national press, including Ha’aretz, Yediot Aharonot, the Jerusalem Post, and the Times of Israel. He has been profiled on national radio and was listed in the Marker Magazine’s 100 most influential people in Israel.

For over twenty years, Gottlieb headed organizations dedicated to leadership development for the government and non-profit sectors. He is a sought-after speaker on issues of leadership, identity, and education and has lectured at leading universities around the world, including Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard, and Stanford. His lectures are known for their combination of philosophical analysis, cutting-edge social science, novel applications of theory to practice, and vivid examples from everyday life.

Gottlieb directed the Mandel Leadership Institute in Jerusalem for over a decade, prior to which he taught at the University of Washington in Seattle and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Gottlieb holds degrees in Philosophy and Psychology from the University of Cambridge and a doctorate in the Psychology of Education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
