Elesa Zehndorfer, Ph.D., is a writer and researcher and author of the forthcoming Post-Truth Politics: Brave New World (Routledge, 2025). She is also author of the political thriller Upload (Blackheath Publishing, 2022); Evolution, Politics and Charisma: Why Populists Win (Routledge, 2019); The Physiology of Emotional and Irrational Investing: Causes and Solutions (Routledge, 2018); Charismatic Leadership: The Role of Charisma in the Global Financial Crisis (Routledge 2015, 2016); and Leadership: A Critical Introduction (Routledge, 2014). Zehndorfer is also an eMBA lecturer, Research Officer for British Mensa, and Senior Advisor to the Paddy Ashdown Policy Research Forum. Passionate about the role of physiology in shaping our political and financial realities, she earned her doctorate from the Institute of Sport and Leisure Policy, Loughborough University, in 2006
