Darby Fox, MSW, is a child and adolescent family therapist. With over 20 years of experience, she has deep empathy for children and families from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds and is an expert on parenting, child psychology, and family topics. She appears regularly on-air and in print media, covering a range of topics from parenting questions and discipline techniques to current trends in child development. She recently collaborated with Meath Media Group to develop a television series called Fractured Family with Darby Fox. She also serves as a pro bono mental health consultant to the American Red Cross Board of Directors.

Fox's first book, Rethinking Your Teenager: Shifting from Conflict and Control to Structure and Nurture to Raise Accountable Young Adults, will be published in 2020.

Fox received a B.A. from Middlebury College and an M.A. from Columbia University. She has pursued extensive specialized training at Yale Child Study Center, the NYU Silver School of Social Work, Mel Levine's All Kind's of Minds Institute, Harvard Medical School, and The Ackerman Institute for the Family.
