Bridgette Peteet, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and a professor of psychology at Loma Linda University. She directs the Resilience and Disparities (RAD) Lab, where her work focuses on substance use and mental health disparities in underserved communities. Her resarch is centered on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), family estrangement, and culturally responsive care. She is the author of (dis)Honor Thy Mother: Daughterhood, Dysfunction, & Deliverance, which integrates personal narrative, clinical insight, and psychological research to examine the complexities of maternal relationships and healing.
