Arvin Paul, Ph.D., is a psychotherapist, educator, and researcher specializing in psychospiritual wisdom. He has taught a wide variety of courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels including Biopsychology (Emotions, Learning, & the Brain), Transpersonal Psychology, Psychology Applied to Modern Life, Critical Thinking in Psychology, Personality Psychology, Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods, Abnormal Psychology, Meditation, Human Sexuality, Theories of Counseling, and Human Development, Culture, and Family Relationships.

His dissertation studied transpersonal awakening in direct approaches and its implications for psychology. He has acted as a Psychologist Supervisor and has developed and teaches a Continuing Education Course for Psychologists and the lay public on the newly emerging field of Wisdom Psychology. While having several years of experience as an educator and psychotherapist using varying healing modalities, these are but one aspect of a larger body of work he calls “WisdomPsych,” oriented to fostering holistic transformation and wellbeing (both individually and collectively) through the application of psychospiritual wisdom.
