Although I find it difficult to work in front of large groups I have enjoyed interacting one on one with others in sales and the service industry in the past. I have been described as a valuable asset to the teams I have worked with; even when the managers were skeptical about my social interaction skills. I do make it a point to establish a rapport with my co-workers or clients to help them better understand me as an individual. However; in the competitive job market I often feel being an introvert detains me from promotions or even changing my career goals.
