Experts suggest ways to correct habits that keep us from resting well

I have been taking time to practice walking as slowly as possible, at least once a day, with deliberate attention given to breath and pace. I try to not have a goal or destination in mind other than to be mindful of my pace. It is surprisingly challenging to slow down and let go. Other walkers will fly by, something that I find slightly amusing as well as very revealing about our culture: people are working even when they walk!
