Thank you for the enlightenment! I never thought of men having this issue....perhaps it is as one of the men said - that you never had it so you don't miss it - perhaps. Women are often viewed as the "object of desire" so many of us experience the having of the eyes and attention - and then the taking away. Perhaps we all - males and females - need to engage more with the world! Perhaps this is also a statement of isolation of being human. I don't like it. I like noticing people and being noticed. I don't like being invisible most of the time..but I have found that I can change that and have more fun - simply by being generous with others...it's in the eyes - the smile - and kindness of my words. This blog has generated some really thoughtful and interesting comments. Thank you and keep them coming!!!
