Hi Robin,
Thanks for writing; it is good to hear from another art therapist on this one. I really do believe that this way of working is what makes us different than say counselors who use art to help people. But I sometimes wonder if higher education is really teaching our new graduates to use this approach; I get so many requests from new professionals for a set of activities to use and my sense is they are not being educated on how to "think" with mindsight and artistic empathy.
