I was diagnosed with OCD 3 years ago, after my first semester in college, i had it for a year before that, something four years ago just switched in my mind and it was triggered by certain events that occured at that time. OCD can become a life destroyer and a devestater of family, relationships, and ones own self. Those who deem the term OCD as something funny or as said in the article, an adjective, truly do not understand the pain, shame, horror of ones own mind, and the fearfullness of what may come into it next. I appreciate this article and hope more like it come to fruition.
