it sounds like you kinda already figured out what i'm going to say.

i was watching a famous musician in an interview and he was talking about the song he wrote and what it meant to him. he said his mother was always trying to prepare him for life that would start once he completed school and training and internship and this and that. but he realized it was all bunk, and that life does not start at some certain point. it has already started and the more we wait for it to start, the more we are wasting it.

the main thing school really does is show other people that you are able to consistently do work, and there are so many other ways to show something like that.

i think something is messed up with all of us waiting till we are 23 to start doing anything besides preparing. realistically, 18-25 are some of the most productive and high potential years that anyone has.
