As I read, I began to wonder what lies beneath the "symptoms" you discuss - depression and anxiety on a high/obvious level, and lack of free play, coercive schooling, etc. on a deeper level.
Under those things, it seems to me, lies our culture as a whole - which has chosen to value production/consumption over anything else. That necessitates creating a disruption between the individual and their body (their true needs or wants).
Do you have any thoughts on this?
