Mandy what you describe sounds horrible and I am always saddened by such experiences and/or perceptions. I just heard yesterday of something similiar. But that being said, that may be more of a byproduct of man's behavior vs raw experience with the creator, the latter which is truely empowering and leads to connectedness, freedom, and love. Personally I had to stop trying to view God through the eyes of men to see that.
