Experts suggest ways to correct habits that keep us from resting well

Alright so here's the deal. I was on methadone and Xanax for 20 years. I then went into suboxone for 6 years. Yes if you're a terrible junky methadone can really change your life. HOWEVER, as someone mentioned earlier you need to know about real, semi-synthetic and synthetic opiats. I moved to a city with bad dope and it got to the point where I realized that if I took enough methadone, it felt just as good as the dope, I knew it was pure and for me it was better because the half life is about 48 hours so your high all day. You won't get the immediate rush, but when it hits and I am not encouraging this, and you mix it with Benzos. It feels the same and last much longer. There is a documentary called methadonia I suggest. Now I was extremely stupid when I first tried to stop called turkey, of course I almost died when I started seizing from the lack of Benzos and a 200mg a day methadone habit. I was in the hospital for a month, in bed for a month tapering and barley able to leave the house for another month spending most days in bed. I had an amazing Dr. And he tapered me so well, when the time came to jump, I was only suck for about another month. Now keep in mind that was four months and I didn't get my energy fully back for a year. I didn't learn my lesson. I relapsed. Within my 30 years of drug abuse I have tapered off of each of these separately and combined. Bottom line, you will die from Benzo or alcohol withdraw. And it's rare but I have heard cases of methadone withdraw but I think it was mostly dehydration, still.... Even though Xanax has a much shorter half life then methadone and suboxone, it's still takes months. It's funny, out of all the three Xanax is the most deadly but a schedule lower. You MUST TAPER. I bit off a piece of my tounge then my jaw locked to the point of bruising for a month and pain for three months. Hell it still doesn't feel the same. But the worst is the feeling that you are literally going crazy and losing your mind, which you ARE DOING and to boot, it feels like 100,000 volts of electricity going through your body as there are different types of seizures and this one is the worst. My intention is to scare you. I was blesse on multiple occasions that I didn't die. And again, we are talking about withdraws not overdoses. Last thing, if you are going to use something, do some research, seriously and not just forums either, I'd go to a medical website. Oh yeah and some idiot asked if you could use adderol if you run out of Xanax, no offense but that will probably kill you faster. Learn about your GABA receptors. Serotonin, dopamine etc... In the end, you do have to pay for the party. I know I did. Six figure job, gorgeous fiancé I didn't deserve, I was considered someone that was "going places". All I did was end up in rehab, jail and almost death. And up to my neck in bills bone broke....
