It is a dependency NOT an addiction....ADDICTION=A PERSON WHO'S LIFE REVOLVES AROUND GETTING THAT NEXT FIX/HIGH AND CAN THINK OF NOTHING ELSE IN LIFE!!!!
I get my methadone (40mls) every day at 9.30a.m...and then I go to work until 6.00p.m...have my dinner with my family/watch tv/enjoy sex and sleep/etcetera etcetera!!!
Before methadone I was in ICU FOR 2 MONTHS with a distended liver, internal bleeding and uncontrollable nausea(basically life was HELL, and ADDICTION almost finished me off)...now I have my medication/pay taxes/have a lovely girlfriend...could go on...but I think/hope you get the picture!!!!.
