I was glad to bring to "focus" [pun intended] the fact that art therapy does not seem to consider photography to be one of the central media in best practice. In fact, there are certainly specific circumstances that dictate the use of photography as the medium of choice in art therapy. That can be another subject for a future post!

Thanks for including your excellent website and the historical connections between Psychology Today and phototherapy...it's always a lot fun to make these connections for readers. 30 years ago-- I would bet that the current editors are not aware of this interesting fact, so I glad it is now in print. Something you and I need to address in another future post, too!
