Let's all work for a world in which boys can once again engage in such adventures and not just read about them. Have you ever noticed how much freer the children in comic strips and novels are than the real children in our neighborhoods? Our fictions about children retain their interest by taking place in a former world--a world that we must re-gain for the sake of our children.
