You're correct. And this article is bunk.

I am skeptical of someone whose career banks on finding and exposing pseudoscience. I'm sure the author has found himself susceptible to some of his own unfortunate self-serving biases (as we all are at some point or another.... But a bunk article disproving or ignorantly warping a good thing is more dangerous in this case than the thing itself)..
