So to suggest that everyone should disregard what other's think and follow your values even when they are not popular instead of having emapthetic regard for others, is both counter intuitive and destructive. You may as well have just created an argument for a Neo-Nazi individual. By your definition, they would be living a truly authentic life and that is a good thing according to this article.
