It must be hard to have no real sense of whether & to what extent you've experienced growth/progress after 2 years. Growth is hard to quantify & can be challenging to even define, but it can come down to something as simple as whether we do the same things we did previously - or whether we do the same things the same ways. Doing things differently - in how we: react, behave, relate to others, relate to ourselves reflects growth. Moreover, even small changes in our level of stress, anxiety, anger, depression, fear, or shame can reflect progress.

Every small step is meaningful. Sometimes others can see changes in us before we can. Sometimes professional help can be of great value also. I hope you find your way toward healing.
