All of our labradoodlepups (I work for a breeder) are raised one litter at a time in our home--with us, in our bedrooms and living rooms! I would not want it any other way--they learn to be civilized and better behaved and are used to people and their noises before they are 8 weeks old....But they are in a pen and there is vinyl flooring on the floor under the pen--very easy---labradoodle pups are so smart that it is easy to train them to use puppy pads when they are just a few weeks old and we then train them to a litter box by 6 weeks of age! That makes them much easier to housebreak when they go to their new homes at 8 weeks--it can be noisy and a bit messy, but I would not every do it any other way!
