I could not agree more--my three labradoodles, all at my feet right now, are the best dogs I have owned in over 60 years of dog ownership (My parents had a puppy when I was born, so I have had dogs all of my 62 years.) I decided to raise labradoodles for a reputable and conscientious breeder when I retired from teaching--we are very honest with our clients and test the pups with anyone who has allergies before selling them one. We have had 100% success with allergic folks for over ten years now and the temperaments are phenomenal...but we are not backyard breeders and all buyers must beware of those that are in it for the money.
