While I appreciate the sentiments in this article, I think it's unfair to discuss this without taking context into account. In the U.S., believers have held a cultural monopoly for a long time, and they hold a position of privilege. Atheists are arguing from a "one-down" position.

There's nothing wrong with anger in itself, it is a valid emotion. Sometimes, anger clouds the issue in a debate, true - but I suspect the author may benefit from examining his own emotional reaction to anger. People's discomfort with strong emotions can also cloud issues in a debate.
