I agree with what you say except that atheism, though in appearance not a belief system, is still carried out by humans, which means it is in fact a belief system, from the perspective that there is no way to prove that God or divinity exists: "God hasn't been proven to exist, therefore I believe there is no God." Does that mean there is no God? Nope. The truth us this debate will continue as long as humans exist. Humans are practically made out of beliefs, whether scientific or religious.
