The false belief in personality types has resulted in a deluge of myths, one of the worst being "learning styles" because it is still screwing up our education systems.
Indeed, there are only learning preferences: there is no solid evidence to show that being taught in a not-preferred style is educationally detrimental.
Fuelling more type tests would be fuelling only pseudoscience because it is not the remit of science to continually investigate that which has been long discredited.
Personality traits do exists, but these are wholly different from personality types. Personality typing is covert stereotyping and overtly lazy labelling, which is used for personal and/or financial gain.
