Just for the heck of it, I just did a two week stint of no grain or animal products, just fruits and vegetables, because I wanted to see what it felt like. The very first thing I noticed was that I'm hungry again about every hour or two! I don't see how a person could do anything requiring endurance, because they'd have to stop and cram down another banana repeatedly. I also don't see how anyone drinks buckets of orange juice without destroying their stomach. Now that I'm back to my regular "fresh meat and produce" combination, it's a relief not to have to go to the kitchen every hour!
