As an American outsider, from Australia, I consider that THE greatest scam of all time was wrought upon the Africans who were brought forcibly from their homelands.
Not only were they enslaved physically, they were forced emotionally to believe in and worship a god that approved of their enslavement and assured that if they did not believe in the lord jesus christ they would burn in hell for all time. How cruel, as if enslavement itself wasn't enough.
Mental and physical torture combined has assured religions in America a continued source of income, believers, supporters for an evil, dishonest, ridiculous, outdated, iniquitous form of worship.
Please allow Afro-Americans to discover themselves honestly, without the trappings of the ridiculous doctrines and beliefs of Christianity.
Afro-Americans, please remember that Christianity approved and encouraged your slavery, all 6 million of you.
