I really like using fables in some areas of my curriculum. I read the Donkey in the Well story. I have also used the story A Carrot, an Egg and a Cup of Coffee. Students also complete a resiliency self-assessment and reflection. I like encouraging students to assess their own level of resiliency and their support/coping mechanisms.
