The careless use of the term psychopath based on a self-report questionnaire of questionable validity is at best dubious. In fact, there is no psychometric scale, self-report or otherwise, that meets the required criteria for diagnosing psychopathy in terms of predictive validity, concurrent validity, or interrater reliability, and that includes the notorious Hare PCL which at best predicts criminal potential.
