Thanks very much for taking the trouble to comment. I could not agree more that there are many forces at work here, but that was not what my blog was about. I was trying to show that there are some very subtle effects that people may not be aware of.........small and even apparently insignificant details can make a big difference to impressions. Of course, may other major factors are relevant to overall impression formation.
