Understanding the world as it really is—random—can liberate and empower us.

This is very relevant to me. I am a new mother to a seven and a half month old. He is the very definition of a high needs baby. He is very emotional and sensitive. He still wakes up all throughout the night (just last night he woke up crying 12 times!) I always soothe him back to sleep because he can't do it on his own. I am absolutely exhausted. He is also a very poor napper. It can take me an hour to get him down for a nap, and then he will sleep for 35 minutes. I would love to know what you recommend for a situation like mine. I literally got no restful sleep last night (and this is how it is most every night).
