Yes, I understand that some people have a greater need for lone time and I respect it within my own relationship with my boyfriend. However, I also recognize there could be a problem if all the time spent together consists of superficial or passive togetherness like watching a movie (passive), and eating together and blabbering about nothing in particular (no great passion, variety etc.). I believe there should be progression somewhere when spending time together - common interests and goals, intellectual debates that get you somewhere interesting, new shared projects with a timeline that has a beginning and an end, then it starts again. I'm not sure if I will be notified of replies, but please do challenge or refine my thoughts. I'm a learner still myself.
