imo, there are more reasons - one of them is commenting and reacting, instead of writing own narrative (pretty much like my comment here)
unrelated to the us, one cannot beat one collectivism with proposal of another collectivism
they have their collectivism, alright, just not the one you can identify with, but many do
and while one may define human as something that is entirely independent of race, religion, or political association, billions will refuse such definition because its inextricably intertwined with their identity or profit
and it would require them to build an actual individual identity independent of it
