My notion is that this article is full of partial truths, just like anything else in the world. That is not the problem, the challenge is that we don't know we dealing with partial truths so we can't sort out the good stuff from the "not so good" stuff.
The other danger here is the notion that we are "different", "special", "not understood", etc... that road is not helpful.
