Forgot one thing, even if you find a decent home in a decent neighborhood that you can afford and have a secure retirement plan you still have to worry about other things. Personally, my parents got divorced so I am inclined not to trust that marriage is permanent. Divorce is expensive and not always unavoidable. Plus, its difficult finding compatible women. I mean that my social environments (school, work, bars, church) were always so diverse (ethnically, religiously) that I could never find a women that was similar to me that was interested in me and I have never been attracted to women that are different from me. After thinking about I believe that I am validated in being unmarried at 35 or even never getting married.
