Yeah, the point about the sample jokes being sexist is huge. I really can't believe the study's authors didn't think about that skewing the results. Frankly this seems like another behavioral study that fails to measure what it purports to measure. I love all kinds of jokes. Clean, dirty, dry, punny, absurd, existential...but whipping out a filthy joke first thing is almost as uncouth as just immediately asking if I want to touch your genitals. To me it seems they should also be asking at what point acquaintances become comfortable with dirty jokes.
