That's a meticulous breakdown of why 'sex addiction' indeed isn't an addiction. Infact it's more closely aligned to an obsessive compulsive disorder. They watch too much porn or whatever out of compulsion not because they derive any enjoyment from it. Any psychiatic treatment should be aimed at the reasons for the compulsion not the compulsion itself. Maybe the person feels isolated or alone, is in a bad relationship/marriage, is depressed or stressed, has no sexual or romantic partner, has an existential crisis or whatever other reason. Not the sexual 'addiction' needs to be broken but rather the obsessive, repetitive thought patterns that lead to the 'addiction'. It's a compulsion rather than a reliance. It's the reason why 'sex addicts' don't have any withdrawal symptoms other than being a bit grumpy at most.
