As a 40 something yr old with 30 plus yrs living with bipolar unsuccessfully i am encouraged to read of these low carb diets especially as at present my treatment options appear limited to ECT or possible inclusion on a ketamine trial. Long term treatment resistant depression is very hard to bear but the options above aren't attractive propositions.
Can you advise where one might look to find out more about these diets ? Or any UK based specialist practitioner recommendation?
