Totally agree with you Jen. I actually find it much easier to make sense of my thoughts when I've written them down, as opposed to keeping them inside.

Both my partner and myself suffer from Mental Health issues (Depression, anxiety, BPD etc), and my patner has an ability to write his thoughts down in the form of verses or poems. He has notebooks full of them!

We both firmly believe that even if we get rid of what we've written afterwards (we rarely do), it helps us immensely to get things off our chest, so to speak.
