My notion is that positive thinking is not the most effective expression to approach this topic. I see it more as our thoughts, emotions and attention contribute in a very significant way in how we perceive and experience our reality.
Typically I avoid using the words "positive thinking" as it is loaded with assumptions and often understood in overly simplistic ways.
Choose a few activities and get happier.
